Together, they are focused on leading the company, delivering the highest quality medical devices, and advancing the practice of laparoscopic surgery.
 
Management

Einat Duvdevany
CEO

Ms. Duvdevany joined Nitzanim Group in 2008, focusing on Easy-Lap. Prior to that, Ms. Duvdevany was a project manager for SanDisk (formerly msystems), where she led the first direct retail sale to Best Buy, culminating in a successful product launch. At RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems, Ms. Duvdevany headed a 20M$ multi-disciplinary development project that combined state of the art mechanics, hardware, software, communication algorithms and electromagnetic technologies. Earlier in her career, Ms. Duvdevany was director of the commercial unit in the Access division of ECI, where she was in charge of all commercial sales aspects. Ms. Duvdevany holds a BA in Economics and Management from the Industrial Engineering Faculty of the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Izhak Fabian
CTO

Mr. Fabian joined Nitzanim Group in 2008, focusing on Easy-Lap and Easy-Glide. Before joining Nitzanim Group, Mr. Fabian was vice president of R&D at Cardiodex, LTD, where he coordinated development, engineering, and manufacturing efforts, led preclinical and clinical trials, and was involved in due diligence with Boston Scientific that led to an M&A agreement. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fabian worked for four years with RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems, where he directed an incubator group that matured several multidisciplinary systems. Two of the projects were implemented in the Israeli Air Force and one is being tested by the U.S. Air Force. The systems combine state of the art hardware, software, algorithms and electro optic technologies. Mr. Fabian earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biophysics Bar-Ilan University. His master’s thesis involved merging molecular biology and biochemistry techniques together with sophisticated laser measurements.

Moshe Mizrahy
Chairman & Co-Founder

Moshe Mizrahy co-founded EasyLap in 2007. Previously, he was the co-founder and CEO of Syneron Medical Ltd. (NASDAQ: ELOS). During his time at Syneron, he grew the company from its inception as a private company, through a successful IPO and secondary offering, and eventually to a public company with a market capitalization of approximately $1B at the time of his departure in December 2005. He was also instrumental in developing Syneron’s marketing and sales network for professional medical aesthetic products worldwide. Prior to his term at Syneron, he was CEO of Business Strategy Group, a business strategy formulation and implementation consulting firm in Israel. Moshe holds a B.Sc. in Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

 
Hadar Ron
Director

Dr. Hadar Ron is a member at the Board of Directors of EasyLap.
Dr. Ron is the Managing Partner of Israel HealthCare Ventures (IHCV), Israel’s leading life sciences venture capital fund. IHCV provides funding to Israeli and Israeli related companies in the field of medical devices, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology etc.
Dr. Hadar Ron is a physician and attorney at law. She has extensive medical, legal and management experience in insurance companies, law firms, medical and educational institutions. Her legal and management expertise includes venture capital consulting, medical malpractice, general and medical insurance and legal practice.
She is also an experienced member of boards of directors of numerous medical companies.
Hadar holds an MD from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, and an L.L.B. in Law from Tel Aviv University.

David Robbins
Director
David Robbins is a Director of the Company. Mr. Robbins is a co-founder and Managing Director of Trevi Health Ventures LP, a healthcare investment firm that commenced operations in 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Robbins was active in private equity and alternative investments as a sponsor or member of investor groups and as a portfolio manager for private investment funds, with an emphasis in healthcare. He began his career as a corporate and securities lawyer at Cahill Gordon & Reindel. Mr. Robbins serves on the boards of directors for various Trevi portfolio companies. He also serves on the Bioseed Advisory Board of Connecticut Innovations, the Columbia University Medical School Science and Technology Council and the board of the McCarton Foundation. He is also chairman of the board of directors of Bally Technologies, Inc. Mr. Robbins has served as an assistant adjunct professor of law at the Benjamin N. Cardozo Law School, where he has taught courses in corporate finance. Mr. Robbins received a B.S., magna cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.

Samuel Eldar
Director & Co-Founder
Professor Eldar served as Head of the Department of General Surgery at Bnei Zion Medical Center Haifa from 1987 to 2008 and co-founded Easy-Lap in 2007. Professor Eldar has also served as a staff doctor in the Department of Thoracic Surgery at City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California, and is an associate clinical professor of surgery at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa. He has published more than 100 papers in various peer-reviewed medical journals, and has written medical book chapters. He holds an MD degree from the Technion, and did his fellowship in Oncology Surgery in City of Hope National Medical Center, Duarte, California.
